Description of Event:
This diverse fest offers something to all ages, from one to 100. Legion Park will become home to children's activities and games, a double elimination volleyball tournament and the Family Stage, touting musicians in the Showcase of Bands, local dance and theatrical troupes and much more. The Carnival lights up Main Street as riders twist and turn, slip and slide down the variety of rides sure to take your breath away. The Manteno Oktoberfest features all cuisines and is a one stop shop to satisfy your entire group Oktoberfest nightlife features some of the area's most vibrant musicians on the Beer Garden stage. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights bring adults out for socializing, catching up with old friends and dancing to familiar tunes. Single and double elimination bean bag games are a highlight of the weekend and a competitive event that hosts over 20 teams. Two events that bring people from all over are our two parades-our Pet Parade and Lighted Parade. The skillful vendors featured on Main Street will carry a variety of great crafts and product for every taste and style. Don't forget the Oktoberfest Garage Sales that begin Friday and close Sunday. And for some Sunday entertainment, don't miss out on the Lawn Mower Poker Run, where all kinds of contraptions turn up for some fun.Information:
