Join us for the inaugural Main Gate Square Fine Art Fest! This one-of-a-kind celebration of FINE ART and FINE CRAFT will showcase the original works of acclaimed artists in a variety of mediums. Live music, public participation murals, exciting art demonstrations, interactive booth chats with exhibiting artists, local community groups and great food add to the experience of this outdoor festival.
Main Gate Square celebrates its rich history as one of the oldest shopping districts in Tucson dating back to 1922 when Louise Marshall, the first female professor at the University of Arizona, built the first stores at Park and University. A very high traffic shopping area, Main Gate Square/ University Blvd. is a hub of activity and shopping for Downtown/Midtown residents. For the first time in quite possibly forever, Main Gate Square will be host to a fine art/fine craft festival sure to draw large crowds to this already bustling shopping destination.
