Description of Event:
The 2016 Latin Arts Festival will featured as a set of educational exhibits for all attendees of the 2016 Hilltop Street Fair. The Latin Arts Festival and Hilltop Street Fair will be held on Saturday August 27, 2016. Fair participants will learn about City of Tacoma's First Nation communities and historic immigrant settlements, share in the enjoyment of hearing ""Our Stories"" and celebrate an array of cultural traditions. Latin culture will be featured as part of the Hilltop Street Fair celebration. Street Fair patrons will have the opportunity to discover contemporary Latino Artists and Film-makers, purchase folk arts and crafts, take part in storytelling sessions, sample authentic Latin cuisine, sing along and accompany the flag procession and modeling of native costumes representative of Caribbean, North, Central and South American countries.
