Description of Event:
The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives. The Fair is nonsectarian and nonpartisan, and seeks to attract people of all beliefs from all walks of life. Dozens of information tables from organizations with peace-related messages and missions. Non-competitive Fun for Children: human-powered Peace Train, Fish Pond, Beanbag Toss, Darts for Peace, face painting. Family-friendly live musical entertainment. Food including hamburgers, organic hot dogs, and veggie burgers. Crafts by local artisans. Gently Used book sale. Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Information:
