Description of Event:
The 2nd Annual Jersey City International Television and Film Festival (JCITFF) features events and independent films throughout the city from October 16th to 18th. The three-day Festival presents more than 50 films and web series, and showcases talented filmmakers from around the globe. Screenings will include features, documentaries, animation, web series, and student films (some from our own local Jersey City High Schools and NJCU students) all chosen by .Opening Night will take place on October 16th with a red carpet reception at Mana Contemporary with a feature produced by Grammy award-winning producer: Tom Dwyer entitled “When Voices Meet: One Divided Country; One United Choir; One Courageous Journey” a performance by Sharon Katz & The Peace Train and the acclaimed Golden Door Charter School Children’s Choir. Film screenings will take place on Saturday, October 17th and Sunday, October 18th. Feature films include The Driver,The Wonderpill and a web series by ChicpeaTV and a discussion panel will be held featuring Kris Van Nest of thislearning Movie and Television Studio and host/producer the TV show Kids Teach Dad.
