Description of Event:
Celebration of German heritage in the historic Old Munichburg. With authentic German food, music and dancing. Dachshund Derby and the contest for best costume. Kids Corner with games, prizes, Hansel and Gretal's Root Beer Garden, and train children. Live local entertainment, German and Domestic Beers and Brats in Muenchburg pubs. Artisans and vendors. Classic car and tractor show. A parade, car show, craft vendors and demonstrating artisans offer a day full of family activities. Some of the highlights include the Dachsund Derby and the Children's Train.
