Description of Event:
Jacumba Hot Springs celebrates 100 years with a FREE festival on Saturday, Oct 4th. Participants will enjoy: Live music, crafts vendors, ‘Wild-Wild West’ skits by the Alpine Outlaws, a pumpkin patch, affordable grilled foods, children’s bounce house and water slide, and more! The Old Highway 80 Corporation is bringing its ‘Passport Through Time” classic car caravan and there will be upward to 60 cars participating. Participants will also have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes in our raffles AND tour the Chinese Castle (for a $5.00 donation). The castle is a privately owned spectacular historical home, rife with legend and interesting oddities located on a hilltop in Jacumba. The Jacumba Spa will be open for day use (for a fee) of their natural spring-fed swimming pools and Jacuzzi. All this in a beautiful high desert setting just 70 miles east of San Diego off of Interstate 8.
