Description of Event:
This is the Fifteenth Annual Ishpeming Renaissance Festival. A one day event to be held this year on August 2, 2014. Last year's event included up to 75 art and craft booths, 8 theme related merchants, 6 food vendors. Along with a children's activity area (Kids Castle) and a broad variety of entertainment including dancers, musicians, singers, swordsman and games from the Renaissance period. Five different musical groups performed throughout the day. This energetic annual event attracts a large number of people of all ages and historically attracted a great number of families. Each year it increases in popularity, and we expect upwards of 2,500 people this year. Hours: 10 am to 7 pmInformation:
