The International Horseradish Festival is an annual event held in Collinsville Illinois. The festival has something for everyone. This family friendly event offers many ways to enjoy Horseradish right in the Horseradish Cpaital of the World. Horseradish is a root plant from the mustard family. The root is harvested in the spring and fall and is sold to processors who grate the root, releasing the oils that distinguish horseradish from all other flavors. Enjoy live music, great food from local and regional vendors, fun root-related contests, shop for crafts, play in the children's area, and enjoy Woodland Park in Collinsville, IL.
