Description of Event:
Event will be held on October 9-10, 2015. Oktoberfest in New Ulm, Minnesota is sure to entertain and provide activities to delight the whole family. This traditional festival is modeled after one of the world's largest celebrations, held each year for several centuries in Munich, Germany. The entertainment continues through both Saturdays at the Holiday Inn New Ulm featuring two indoor band stages including local and regionally acclaimed German-style polka and various bands playing all the party favorites to dance the night away. Downtown activities: hometown bands, Horse-Drawn Trolley rides, authentic specialty shops, food vendors and of course the Schell's Beer Wagon. This Oktoberfest is held over two consecutive weekends (Oct 2-3 and 9-10). Hours: Fri 5pm-11pm, Sat 11am-11pmInformation:
