Description of Event:
Over 100 artists from across the United States have applied for the event. Those juried into the festival will be competing for cash awards, totalling $7,000 in the following categories: Painting, Watercolor, Graphics, Sculpture, Fiber and Leather, Glass, Mixed Media, Photography, Ceramics, Jewelry and Wood Art. The awards are one Best of Show, $1,000; four Awards of Excellence, $500; eight Awards of Distinction, $300; and eight Awards of Honor, $200. Proceeds from the festival are used to help produce the event, fund scholarship awards to area schools and to Pensacola State College students who exhibit talents in the arts.
