Greenwood Furnace Folk Gathering is a wonderful weekend of playing, singing, jamming, dancing and listening to folk music. There are activities for all levels from non-musician to advanced players, and all ages from mature children through adult are welcome. Come and enjoy the friendly, relaxed setting at a beautiful state park. Fifty-seven different workshops in 9 time-slots cover a wide range of musical styles and interest, from Hammer Dulcimer Techniques to West African Drumming to Old Time Tunes to Carter Family Songs, plus much more. Enjoy 2 concerts, a contra and square dance, plus lots of formal and informal opportunities to jam.Information:
