Description of Event:
Join the whole town to celebrate the town's delicious roots. An entire family-oriented day dedicated entirely to one of Vermont's tastiest heirloom vegetables. SHOP for turnip gifts, the commemorative Gilfeather T-shirt, Gilfeather movie DVDs, and the ever-popular Gilfeather Turnip Cookbook. Learn the words to the famous Gilfeather Turnip Song with composer and local musician Jimmy Knapp. Come to the TURNIP CAFE for the turnip tastings, where local cooks show off their best Turnip Recipes. Stay for lots of live music, strolling musicians and more. This is a one-of-a-kind culinary event! SHOP the Farmer's Market and Craft Tables. Hours: 10 A.M to 4 P.M.Information:
