Fur Rondy is the nation's premier winter festival. Since 1935, Rondy has proudly represented the pioneering spirit of Alaskans, offering wild and wacky fun for all ages. This 10-day festival has something for everyone: contests and culture, sled dog races and snow sculptures, fur auctions and fireworks. Don't miss the Rondy Carnival, Grand Parade, Outhouse Races, Snowshoe Softball and Running of the Reindeer, the Native Arts Market, or any of the other fun events for kids of all ages.
