The streets of Anchorage come alive during Rondy with winter sports, native culture and tons of unique events. This 10-day festival has something for everyone: contests and culture, sled dog races and snow sculptures, fur auctions and fireworks. Don't miss the Running of the Reindeer, the Miners and Trappers Charity Ball, the Native Arts Market, or any of the other fun events for kids of all ages. At Charlotte Jensen Native Arts Market, to be held March 2-6, 2016. you'll find hundreds of vendors from across Alaska showcasing exquisite works of art. The Alaska Native artisans will be selling and demonstrating their art - basket weaving, dolls, beading, carving and more. This is a rare opportunity to meet and greet the artists and watch them create one-of-a-kind items.Information:
