Description of Event:
On Sunday, July 24th 2016, we will host our 1st Annual Fun-in-the-Sun Fundraiser, a family oriented day filled with fun, food and activities, at West Newton Lions Club Field. This Fundraiser is held in conjunction with the Zombek Christmas Light Display which benefits Make-A-Wish.
We are happy to announce and accept applications for our 1st annual Summer Fundraiser. Other entertainment for the day includes a DJ, bouncy houses, carnival games, barrel trains, and princess/super hero meet and greets. Food and baked goods will also be available.
The Fun in the Sun Day will run from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Vendor applications must be received with payment by June 24th in order to be considered for approval. A booth space will cost $100 and will include one 8 foot table and 2 chairs.
We will have an ongoing Chinese Auction during the Fundraiser. We request that each vendor donation an item representative of their booth with a value of no less than $15. Staff will collect items that day before the Fundraiser begins. All monies collected from the Chinese Auction will be donated to Make A Wish. Make-A-Wish fulfills the wishes of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. Your support will make it possible for more children to receive a dream come true – whether it’s visiting Disney World, receiving a lap top, or even swimming with dolphins.
We kindly ask that you join us in this very worthwhile effort. Your donation, sponsorship or support on any level would be greatly appreciated. Funds and sponsorships received will go towards fundraising costs, including but not limited to event games, food, entertainment, etc. Your donation will make it possible for more children to have their dreams come true! We will proudly acknowledge your generosity at the event and in our promotions. Won’t you please help us make some dreams come true for these brave children?
