Description of Event:
The Possum Day Festival is held on the first Saturday in August every year and is a Washington County institution in Wausau, Florida. Come Friday night for the Possum King and Queen contests and stay for Saturday's parade and possum auction. Be sure to try some possum stew, it is surprisingly good.
