Description of Event:
AsianFest celebrates diverse Asian American culture and showcases four hours of live cultural performances on the campus of Fresno City College. Visitors will learn about Asia in the Cultural Village and sample great cuisine in the Food Court. Stroll the Vendor Fair or enjoy the Martial Arts excitement in the gym. There is also a High School Mandarin Speech Contest and Children's Area where kids can learn Origami and make cultural crafts all under the direction of Jumpstart, an early literacy program where volunteers teach children about culture as well as literacy enriched activities.
