Description of Event:

The Museum grounds will be transformed into a traditional 19th century Arizona village featuring themed districts and emphasizing education, demonstrations and hands-on experiences. Participate in the arts and skills essential to the lives of territorial Arizonans. Watch sheep shearing and then see it spun into yarn and woven into garments. Discover basket weaving, blacksmithing demonstrations, and folk music performances as you discover a simpler time in Arizona. Children can experience crafts of yester-year with hands-on activities, and everyone will savor fresh popcorn and Dutch-oven baked biscuits with freshly churned butter. Enjoy the crafts, trades and amusements of the past. Hours: Sat-Sun 10-5
