Over 95 artists from throughout the Midwest will gather on July 28 through July 29, 2012. 50th annual Festival of Arts. This juried arts and crafts show is held in Memorial Park on the shores of Lake Superior in downtown Bayfield. Visitors will find a unique selection of pottery, painting, jewelry, sculpture, glass works, wood carvings, photography and more. Attendees will also enjoy festival food, on-site entertainment, and a stunning view of Lake Superior from the festival grounds. Experience art in the making! In addition to the exhibitors in Memorial Park, Bayfield artists will open their studios and galleries to visitors with open houses, demonstrations, and special sales as part of the Festival of Arts Gallery Tour held in conjunction with the festival in the park. The 2010 participating galleries included Austin Miller Studio, Bate's Art Barn, DONALEE DESIGNS, Eckel's Pottery and Fine Craft Gallery, Kerr Studio and Gallery, Oulu Glass, Stone's Throw and Water Music Jewelry and Art.
