Description of Event:
Warm, desert days and cool nights. It's just what the doctor or in this case, viticulturist ordered to ripen our grapes and prepare for harvest. It also makes it a great time to visit the Okanagan. For ten days in October ending on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend the Annual Fall Okanagan Wine Festival is a celebration of earthly delights. With over 165 events happening around the valley, well...you get the picture. We're the only festival in North America to happen at the heart of harvest. Must be something in the wine. Join us for a vineyard tour, lunch among the vines or dine on a waterfront patio. Take in a seminar. Learn food and wine pairings from award-winning Okanagan chefs. Whatever you choose, do it early: events sell out weeks (and months) in advance. Hours: Sat 10am to 8pm, Sun 10am to 4pmMore Information about Fall Okanagan Wine Festival 2012 Tonasket, WA
