Description of Event:
Event will be held on July 11th through July 12th, 2015. An 1890 reenactment festival at 147 East Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio. (Ashtabula County) Saturday, July 11th, 10am - 5pm, and Sunday, July 12th, Noon-5pm --1890 becomes ""ALIVE"" as you enter the gates into the historic 19th century Jefferson Depot Village. Costumed kinfolk recreate the ""period"" as you peek into the past in the school, tavern, general store, pharmacy, Victorian house, post office, railroad station, church, blacksmith shop, carriage house and on the grounds. ""Dixieland Band"" performance 2:00 PM Sunday in the ""1865 Lenox Cornet Bandwagon and Village Bandstand. Fashion show Saturday in the 1848 Church. Scavenger Hunt for kids. Early skills demonstrated - Candle-making, Dying and Spinning wool, Alpaca, Pottery, Art, Basketry, Tussie-Mussies, Hat Show, Make and Take crafts, Bandstand Entertainment, games for young and old, and an 1890 Food Menu.
