Bring the family down and join in some good ol' fashioned fun on Saturday, July 4th for the Down Home 4th of July Celebration and Heritage Day festivities. The Swedish Hospital Kids 'n Pets Parade kicks off the day at 11 am. After the parade join us on Veterans' Memorial Park for more fun with pony rides, bouncy houses, waterballoons, gunnysacks and three legged races to win all kinds of fun, red, white and blue prizes. Dig in the hay for prizes at the Hay Hunt, enter your pet slug in the official Slug Speed Race and Beauty Pageant. Finish your day with the pie eating contest - fresh baked of course.
