Description of Event:
The Oktoberfest is held the second Friday and Saturday in October each year. The first two years the Oktoberfest was held in the Armory in Crossville. Since then the event as been held at the Knight's property on Highway 70 three mile east of downtown. When it was first held there, the festival was held totally inside temporary tents. Over the years, permanent building have been constructed. Even now, temporary tents are brought in to supplement the space of the permanant buildings. Last years attendance for the two days was 1950. Each year many corporate sponsors have helped the Knights put on the event.
