Description of Event:
The Connecticut Sheep, Wool and Fiber Festival celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2009. This event is a delightful agricultural and learning experience for the general public as well as shepherds and fiber enthusiasts. It'll have vendors featuring fiber of all types, fiber tools, dyes, finished goods, soaps, herbals, local CT cheese and a variety of other quality items produced by small farms and businesses from the North East. This year's professional concessions will be offering a variety of menu. Fleece Sale, Spinning Bee Competition, Wheel Classes, Drop Spindle Class, Silk Reeling Demonstration, and much more. Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Information:
