Description of Event:
The annual Chocolate Lovers Festival will be held at the Park Building in Lexington Memorial Park on the Square on Saturday, Oct. 18. The theme of the day will be - Chocolate in all its forms. The festival will kick off at 8:30 a.m. with a gourmet-recipe chocolate pancake breakfast. Chocolate Alley features a wide variety of chocolate goodies for sampling and for sale. After breakfast, the day will be packed with activities like Chocolate-themed contests including eating contests for youngsters. Test your baking skills: Area Chefs will judge Best Chocolate Cake and Best Chocolate Dessert by adults and children in two separate categories. Cakes and desserts will be auctioned off to benefit the Chamber and its scholarship fund. Arts, Crafts, Food and Game Booths. Face painting, pie-throwing and a bounce-house will be there for entertaining kids throughout the day. Hours: 8AM-6PMInformation:
