Bandera - where the fun never sets - really comes alive on Labor Day weekend. That's when Bandera returns to its roots. It is the time of the cowboy - and music, horses, longhorn cattle, gunfights, American Indian Powwow, gospel singing and cowboy church on the river. It's Celebrate Bandera 2010 organized by the Bandera Community Foundation. Open to individual artists and craftsmen presenting their original works. No manufactured, imported or resale items will be allowed in the Arts and Craft area – only original works and prints by exhibiting artists. Demonstrating your art or craft, while not required, will be a consideration when booths are being assigned. To maintain the quality and balance of the Arts and Crafts shown, this will be a juried show. Bandera Community Foundation, Inc. reserves the right to reject any display that is not in keeping with the examples submitted to jury. A jury of Artists and Craftsmen is selected to judge the pictures and slides presented for consideration for our show.
