This year's fair begins with fair exhibit entries being accepted from 4:00pm until 7:30pm in the North Wing of the Hardy Murphy Coliseum on Tuesday, September 8th. The official opening ceremonies will be Wednesday, September 9th at 6:30pm in the main arena and the fair will be open through Saturday, September 12th. This year will be the 73rd year for the Carter County Free Fair. There will be entertainment, horse events, petting zoo, kid's games and more. There will be animal attractions, livestock shows, craft vendors and lots of fun for the entire family.Information:
