Description of Event:
The 2015 festival will be featuring the 10th annual Hot Air Balloon Shoot-Out. Approximately 16 hot air balloons will fly the friendly skies over Carson City. The Grand Parade always attracts a large crowd, as it makes its way down Main Street. Other exciting events include Kids' Health and Safety Day, the Taste of Carson City cookie baking contest, and much more. Also returning this year will be the Community Picnic on Thursday evening, the Outdoor Movie on Friday night, the 5K and Kids' Zone and Family Fun area on Saturday, and of course the fireworks to finish the night. The Craft Show will be back for the 2015 Frontier Days celebration as well. The crafts will be located along the streets starting at the corner of Sherman and Second and continuing on to the Sherman and Division Street intersection. You will find anything from wood crafts to candles to clothing. There will also be Pampered Chef and Miche for you to purchase. Hours: Fri 12-9, Sat 9-9Information:
