Canal Fest is an event celebrating the Erie Canal and her history - The largest event held along the banks of the Ol' Erie in New York State. Canal Fest provides 8 days of entertainment for local citizens and visitors from throughout Western New York and farther. Attendance is estimated anywhere from 200,000 - 250,000 for the 8 day run. Golf Tournament, Canal Fest Pageant, Chalk-It-Up Street Chalk Art Contest, Canal Fest Parade, Diaper Derby, 4 Mile Run, Arts and Crafts Show, Historical Society Flea Market, Boat Building Contest, Food and more.Information:
