Description of Event:
Buffalo River Elk Festival will be held on June 26-27, 2015. The festival features some of the Ozark's best creative talent and includes arts and crafts on the square with unique, handmade items. Music lovers will enjoy the live music and fun on the festival stage, showcasing some great local talent. Both days include talent shows and both evenings feature street dancing until 11 p.m., reminiscent of an old fashioned block party. Foodies will love Dutch Oven Cook-off and Pie Competition and Auction held at the Buffalo River Theater on the Square. Kids love the Elk Festival - especially the "Kid's Zone" and the Fishing Derby for kids that are 12 and under. The entire festival is a wonderful experience for "kids" of all ages.
