Description of Event:
The Bremerton Blackberry Festival is held each year on the Labor Day weekend, rain or shine. It is held on the picturesque City of Bremerton Boardwalk overlooking the Puget Sound in the shadow of the Olympic Mountains. Enjoy food and drink from 130 food, arts and crafts vendors. Be sure to enjoy one or all of the growing list of blackberry treats available at the festival including blackberry "slugs," blackberry pies, blackberry sodas, blackberry beer and blackberry wine! The main stage, located on the Louis Mentor Boardwalk, has a full line-up of music and entertainment all weekend long and the children's stage (located on 2nd Street between Washington and Pacific Avenues) hosts free family-friendly music and entertainment for the young, and the young-at-heart. Don't miss the The Berry Fun Run on Saturday morning, and be sure to visit Bremerton National Airport for a car show on Saturday as well.
