Description of Event:
Throughout the weekend, festival-goers can enjoy the annual Alabama Working Waterfront Exhibit; arts and crafts booths; live entertainment from local performing groups, children's activities, train rides, bayou boat tours, bingo and more. Great food will be available, including traditional Bayou La Batre seafood dishes featuring shrimp, oysters and fish as well as a full Vietnamese menu prepared by ""the locals"", sno cones, hamburgers, hot dogs, desserts and more. Additional features include a certified 4-mile run on Saturday morning. There will also be a Gumbo Cook-off on Saturday and kayaking will be available throughout the day. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday. The Blessing of the Fleet land parade will begin at 2 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the boat parade. Hours: 10 am to 4 pmInformation:
