The Greater Augusta Arts Council is proud to present the 30th annual Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival (AHA). This year we return to historic Downtown Augusta, encompassing the Augusta Common and the Riverwalk area. In 2009 over 60,000 people attended this 2 ½ day event. In addition to our Juried Fine Arts and Craft Area we offer a Global Village, where all festival food is prepared by our local ethnic community, a hands-on children's arts and craft area, 4 stages on non- stop entertainment, a literary village offering opportunities for authors to showcase and sell their books with lectures and workshops to help them hone their skills. We look forward to receiving your application. The AHA Festival caters to our Artists. We offer secure parking adjacent to the Arts and Craft area. On Saturday we will deliver a free lunch to your booth and booth sitters will be available all week-end, allowing you a quick break to stretch your legs or visit the loo. We offer a choice of hotels with special Arts in the Heart Rates.
