Description of Event:
Apple Harvest Day is a family day consisting of crafts people and vendors, entertainment, rides and games for all ages. The majority of the fun takes place in downtown Dover at Henry Law Park. Apple Harvest Day was created in the 1980s to celebrate the revitalization of downtown Dover and to attract people into the redeveloped downtown business district. The event now attracts more than 35,000 people to the downtown area on the first Saturday in October. And because no Apple Harvest Day could exclude the presence of apples, there are pie eating and tasting contests, a apple decorating contest and plenty of apple-related merchandise for purchase.More Information about Apple Harvest Day Dover, NH
