Sisters of Notre Dame
93nd Annual 4th of July Festival
This is the 93rd year that the Sisters of Notre Dame have held their festival at the St. Joseph Heights Convent in Covington Kentucky.
This festival is held from 2-7pm and draws in around 1200-1500 people. We have many events taking place that day.
Food
Grilled items made by volunteers here on the grounds.
Lee’s Famous Recipe-Chicken
Drinks
Beer, soft drinks and water.
Beer is sold by the can. There is no samples or tastings.
Raffles
We have many raffles of non-monetary value and our grand raffle giving away $4000.
Games
We have children’s and adult games including a dart game, pig races and Big Six. We do not have card games.
Entertainment
Live music, petting zoo, Balloon Man Dan
Silent Auction
We have around 120 items to auction off during the day.
Sisters Market
We have an area set up where sisters sell handmade and homemade items.
Picnic Bingo
We allow guests to play Bingo inside for nominal prizes.
Proceeds benefit
• SND Uganda and East Africa missions,
• SND urban education ministries,
• and SND retirement needs.
