Description of Event:
The Pilot Club of Dewey’s annual Christmas Art and Crafts Show and Sale will be Nov.7th and 8th at the Washington Co. Fairgrounds in Dewey, OK, two blocks west of the Dewey High School at the light on US 75 & Bulldogger Rd. The show will be open on Sat. from 9:00am to 5:00pm and on Sun. 11:00am to 4:00pm. This is the 32st year for the show and it is always well attended with over 60 exhibitors featuring wearing apparel, gift items, jewelry, food, holiday & home decorating merchandise, woodwork and original art work. Several local clubs and organizations will be returning with their assorted packaged nuts, peanut brittle and cook books. Admission is free and door prizes, donated by the vendors, are given every hour. A cash prize of $100 will be given at the close of the show on Sunday. The Club members prepare and serve a variety of food from 11:00 - 2:00 every day. Chicken and noodle, hotdogs, chili dogs, Frito pie baked potato bar, desserts & drinks are some of the items. This Craft Show started in 1983 by the Pilot Club of Dewey, a member of Pilot International, a service organization to support its many area civic projects and programs. The signature project is BrainMinders, a campaign to increase the awareness of brain related disorders & injuries and their prevention.
