Description of Event:
Riverfest Half Marathon and 5K, Bean Bag Tournament, Craft Fair, Classic Car Show, Carp Classic, Horseshoe Tournament, Kid's Casting Contest, Raft Race, Tennis Tournament, Live Entertainment, Rides, Fireworks, and much more. Thursday will feature Vixen - an 80s and early 90s Los Angeles-based all-woman hard rock band. Friday will feature Light Up - A tribute to Styx, they will lead into the 10 p.m. Batolotta fireworks show. Saturday brings the headliner for the festival: Sawyer Brown - a legendary rockin' country act. Sunday will bring Jay And The Americans and to close out the festival a concert by Chicago Tribute Authority. Artists and craftsman display their items in a natural setting on the Riverside Park island on Saturday and Sunday. Hours: Thu 4pm-11pm; Fri 11am-11pm; Sat 8am-10pm; Sun 8am-8pmInformation:
