The Fair is located on an idyllic private farmstead in Minnesota's Sogn Valley southeast of the Twin Cities. The landscape is rolling hills, farmland, forests and small fast-moving rivers and streams. For many Twin Citians a trip to the Sogn Valley Craft Fair is a chance to both shop for excellent artwork and crafts and get away to the country but not too far. You'll find a wide variety of pottery, including functional and sculptural work in raku, porcelain and stoneware, jewelery in silver, gold and beads, painting, photography, baskets, fiber weaving fabric, metalwork and more.
