Description of Event:
Join us at the annual Sunbury River Festival held always on the third (3rd) weekend of August. Families come from far and wide to catch the popular event where a variety of live music and entertainment echoes along Front Street and where good food and good times are abundant for people of all ages. Beginning at 12:00 PM on Friday kids games and vendors of all kinds are set up to their wares through the evening. On Saturday, you can enjoy the wide variety of free entertainment or express your artistic side and enter the Chalk the Walk Competition. If cars are your thing you can't miss the 100+ hot rods that line the street in the annual car show. If you are more of a late riser, come out in the afternoon to check out the Cardboard Boat Regatta, the 2nd annual Lake Augusta Boat Parade, and end the weekend with Sunbury After Hours Concert.
