Description of Event:
River City Roots Fest, two-day free festival, features first-class art and entertainment for both residents and visitors. With quality live performances on a big stage on West Main Street, a juried art show, entertainment for children and families, and a 4-Mile run through the heart of Missoula, Roots Fest brings a weekend of family fun to the community. The Roots Fest Music on Main will open Friday, Aug. 26 at 2:30 pm with Gipsey Moon. Fruition and Darrell Scott will follow with Missoula's own the Lil' Smokies closing out Friday night from 8:30-10 pm. Saturday's Main Stage Lineup for Roots opens at 12:30 pm with every Missoula child's favorite the Whizpops. At 2:30pm, Goodtime Travelers will take the stage with Sole Driven Train following. The Jeff Austin Band and Rodney Crowell close out Saturday night.Information:
