The annual Dana Point Festival of Whales, Saturday and Sunday, March 12-13, celebrates the return of the once-endangered California Gray Whale with a leviathan-size event. The annual Dana Point Festival of Whales, happens the first two weekends in March Saturday and Sunday. Whale Watching, a fabulous kick-off parade and Street Fair, sand sculpting, Ocean Awareness Day, musical entertainment, on-the-water concert, art and craft shows, pancake breakfast, BBQs, kids interpretive crafts, Polynesian cultural experience, classic car and vintage boat exhibits, educational lectures/seminars at multiple venues, historic walking tours, run/walk Event, sailing/rowing/kayak/SUP Demos, and much more. Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Information:
