The free one-day celebration will focus on the merits of mindful, sustainable living while educating and encouraging Houstonians to do their part to preserve, conserve, and enhance our city and the Earth. Earth Day Houston showcases more than 40 green non-profits, each educating visitors on how they can make Houston greener. Planned activities include eco-focused zones featuring interactive environmental awareness activities, highlighting land, air, water, sustainability, healthy living, recycling, art, food, and wildlife.
