Description of Event:
The Steamboat Days Festival has been moved to Labor Day Weekend to take advantage of exisitng activities along the riverfront and weather. Several activites will kick the festival off on Friday, September 4th. Vendors and major entertainment will be scheduled for Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th. Located on the Ohio River, Jeffersonville's Riverstage is one of the best outdoor enterainment venues in the region. Patrons can view live enterainment, steamboat races, iconic bridges, and the Louisville skyline from the Riverstage seating terrace. During Steamboat Days, this area will also include a craft beer garden and food vendors. Jeffersonville's Big Four Station Station will be the location of the Steamboat Days juried art village. Art vendors will have a front row seat to thousands of pedestrians traveling to and from Louisville's Waterfront Park on the Big Four Bridge during the festival. Crafters and authors will be located along Pearl Street into Riverstage, the main entertainment area.Information:
