Description of Event:
Florida Turkish American Association (FTAA) is proud to present its 14th Annual Florida Turkish Festival themed “Blue Voyage Along the Turkish Coast”. The festival’s highlights include performances by a folk dance group from Istanbul, live music by famous singer Aylin Tasci and her orchestra from Turkey, musician & entertainer Ilhan Ozulu from California, and a belly dancing show! Delicious Turkish foods such as doner kebab & baklava, and Turkish coffee will be available for purchase.
Turkish coffee fortune tellers will be available to read your fortune. There will be demonstrations of Turkish art forms such as Ebru and Calligraphy, and guests will have opportunity to purchase unique items of Turkish arts and crafts . Free children’s activities will include face painting, balloon sculpting, and a bounce house making the festival a family affair! Be sure to buy a Raffle ticket for a chance to win a cruise for 2. The 14th Annual Florida Turkish Festival will be held at Hollywood’s Arts Park at Young Circle, 11:00am-7:00pm. Don’t miss this one day free cultural event!
