Everyone's Italian during the 9th Street Italian Market Festival (www.ItalianMarketFestival.com). The nation's oldest outdoor market hosts this highly-anticipated annual event in one of Philadelphia's most established neighborhoods. The Italian Market Area has always been home to a multicultural, vibrant mix of people and businesses and recently, it has attracted an upscale population with new businesses, coffeehouses and condos. The Festival, which originated in 1971, was revived in 2003 and is growing each year.
